DESCRIPTION:
Sextants- 2 (Two) Kelvin & Hughes Sextants: Kelvin & Hughes Ltd., London, 7 inch sextants, pierced metal frames with black finish, signned brass arcs with inset silvered scales with graduations from 0-150, knurled fine adjustment, index magnifiers, multiple shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, and wood handles, all in finger-jointed mahogany boxes with clean paper labels.
CONDITION:
nicely made instruments, both with inner labels dating to 1961. One is absent any sighting scope. Both have tarnish on silvered graduated arcs. Inset plaques on top of boxes have been removed. Dimensions are for closed box. Sold "as is ".
